1. Heat a large pot over medium-high heat and add olive oil.

2. Add beef and cook until browned on all sides, about 5 minutes.

3. Remove beef from the pot and set aside.

4. Add onion to the pot and cook until softened, about 3 minutes.

5. Add garlic and cook for another minute.

6. Add cumin, chili powder, paprika, salt, and pepper to the pot and stir to combine with the onion and garlic.

7. Add crushed tomatoes, beef broth, and kidney beans to the pot and stir well.

8. Return the beef to the pot and bring everything to a boil.

9. Reduce heat to low, cover the pot, and let simmer for 1 hour or until the beef is tender.
