Tomato Lentil Curry

A delicious vegetarian curry with tomatoes and lentils.

Tomato Lentil Curry

Follow the steps below to cook the desired recipe

1. Chop the onion, garlic, and green pepper.

2. Peel and slice the carrots.

3. Peel and dice the potatoes.

4. Heat some oil in a large pot and sauté the onion, garlic, and green pepper until soft.

5. Add the carrots, potatoes, and red cabbage and cook for another 5 minutes.

6. Add the canned tomatoes, red lentils, chickpeas, and garam masala spice mix. Stir well.

7. Cover the pot and let the curry simmer over low heat until the lentils are cooked (about 20-25 minutes).

8. Meanwhile, cook basmati rice or barley according to package instructions.

9. Season the curry with salt and pepper.

10. Serve the curry with rice or barley.
