Turkey and Cheese Fettuccine Bake
Fettuccine and seared turkey breast in a creamy cheddar sauce with red onion, paprika and oregano, topped with more cheese and baked until golden.

Follow the steps below to cook the desired recipe
1. Preheat the oven to 190 °C. Cook the fettuccine in boiling salted water for 2 minutes less than the package says, then drain.
2. Cut the turkey breast into 2 cm cubes and toss with half of the salt, the paprika, oregano and pepper. Heat the oil in a large ovenproof skillet over medium-high heat and sear the turkey for 6–7 minutes until browned and cooked through. Transfer to a plate.
3. In the same skillet, cook the diced red onion over medium heat for 5 minutes until soft. Add the butter, and when melted, stir in the flour and cook for 1 minute.
4. Pour in the milk gradually, whisking constantly, and simmer for 4–5 minutes until the sauce coats the back of a spoon.
5. Take the pan off the heat and stir in two thirds of the cheddar and the remaining salt until melted. Fold in the fettuccine and turkey.
6. Smooth the surface in the skillet or a baking dish and sprinkle with the remaining cheddar.
7. Bake for 20–25 minutes until bubbly and golden. Rest for 5 minutes before serving.
