1. Peel and dice the potatoes.

2. Peel and slice the carrots.

3. Dice the fresh tomatoes.

4. Slice the hot dogs into thin rounds.

5. Heat some oil in a large pot and sauté the potatoes until lightly browned.

6. Chop the garlic and add it to the pot along with the carrots. Mix well and cook for 5 minutes.

7. Add the fresh tomatoes and canned chopped tomatoes. Season with salt, pepper, garlic salt, and herb seasoning.

8. Reduce the heat and simmer the stew for about 20 minutes or until the potatoes are tender.

9. Add the milk to the pot and bring the stew to a brief boil.

10. Garnish with fresh herbs and serve.
