Green Lentil Lasagna

A hearty and nutritious lasagna made with green lentils and lasagna noodles.

Green Lentil Lasagna

Follow the steps below to cook the desired recipe

1. Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).

2. Cook the green lentils according to package instructions.

3. In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat. Add onion and garlic, and cook until onion is translucent.

4. Add the cooked lentils, tomato sauce, salt, pepper, and Italian seasoning to the skillet. Stir well to combine.

5. In a separate pot, cook the lasagna noodles according to package instructions. Drain and set aside.

6. In a baking dish, spread a layer of the lentil mixture. Top with a layer of lasagna noodles. Repeat until all the lentil mixture and noodles are used, ending with a layer of lentil mixture on top.

7. Cover the baking dish with foil and bake in the preheated oven for 25-30 minutes.

8. Remove the foil and sprinkle shredded cheese on top. Bake for an additional 5 minutes or until cheese is melted and bubbly.

9. Let the lasagna cool for a few minutes before serving. Enjoy!
