Creamy Chicken Noodle Casserole

Follow the steps below to cook the desired recipe

1. Boil a large pot of salted water and cook the egg noodles according to the package directions. Drain and set aside.

2. Meanwhile, season boneless chicken with salt and pepper. Heat olive oil in a pan over medium-high heat. Add chicken and cook until browned on both sides, about 5 minutes per side or until cooked through. Remove from the pan and set aside.

3. In the same pan, add more olive oil if needed and heat over medium heat. Add American cheese, sliced into small pieces, to the pan along with 1/2 cup of water. Stir until the cheese has melted and combined with the water to make a creamy sauce.

4. Add the cooked egg noodles to the pan with the cheese sauce and stir to coat evenly. Slice the cooked chicken into strips or bite-sized pieces and add it to the pan with the noodles.

5. Stir everything together until heated through, about 2-3 minutes.
