Follow the steps below to cook the desired recipe

1. Step 1: Pat the chicken breasts dry with paper towels, then season both sides generously with salt and black pepper to help build flavor and encourage good browning.

2. Step 2: Heat the olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat until shimmering. Add the chicken breasts in a single layer and sear for 4-5 minutes per side, until golden brown. The chicken does not need to be fully cooked at this stage.

3. Step 3: Transfer the chicken to a plate and reduce the heat to medium. Add the sliced mushrooms to the same skillet and cook for 4-6 minutes, stirring occasionally, until they release their moisture and begin to brown.

4. Step 4: Stir in the minced garlic and cook for about 30 seconds, just until fragrant. Be careful not to let the garlic burn.

5. Step 5: Pour in the chicken broth to deglaze the pan, scraping up any browned bits from the bottom of the skillet with a wooden spoon to capture all the flavor.
