Follow the steps below to cook the desired recipe
1. In a mixing bowl, combine active dry yeast, water, and a pinch of granulated sugar. Let it sit for 5-10 minutes until foamy.
2. Add flour, vegetable oil, coarse salt, and fine salt to the yeast mixture. Knead the dough until smooth and elastic. Cover and let it rise for about 1 hour.
3. Roll out the dough on a floured surface and cut out doughnut shapes using a cutter. Let them rise for another 30 minutes.
4. Heat vegetable oil in a deep fryer or heavy-bottomed pot to 350°F (180°C). Fry the doughnuts until golden brown on both sides. Drain on paper towels.
5. While still warm, toss the fried doughnuts in a mix of confectioners sugar, sanding sugar, sprinkles, apple pie spice, and pumpkin pie spice until well coated.
