Follow the steps below to cook the desired recipe

1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).

2. In a mixing bowl, cream together 1 cup of softened butter and 1 cup of granulated sugar until light and fluffy.

3. Add 2 eggs and 1 teaspoon of vanilla extract to the bowl, and mix until well combined.

4. In a separate bowl, whisk together 2 cups of all-purpose flour, 1/2 teaspoon of baking powder, and 1/4 teaspoon of salt.

5. Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients, mixing until just combined.

7. Drop tablespoon-sized portions of dough onto a greased baking sheet.
