Roasted Brussels Sprouts
These roasted Brussels sprouts are crisp-edged, tender in the center, and deeply savory with just a few simple ingredients. A hot oven transforms them into a caramelized side dish that pairs beautifully with nearly any main course.

Follow the steps below to cook the desired recipe
1. Preheat the oven to 220°C (425°F) and line a large baking sheet with parchment paper if desired.
2. Trim the stem ends from the Brussels sprouts and remove any loose or damaged outer leaves.
3. Cut each Brussels sprout in half lengthwise so the flat sides can caramelize properly.
4. Place the sprouts in a large bowl, then drizzle with olive oil.
5. Add the salt and black pepper, and toss thoroughly until all of the sprouts are evenly coated.
6. Spread the sprouts onto the baking sheet in a single layer, making sure most of them are cut-side down for better browning.
7. Roast for 20 to 25 minutes, stirring once halfway through, until the sprouts are tender and deeply browned at the edges.
8. Remove from the oven and taste for seasoning, adding a little more salt or pepper if needed.
9. Serve immediately while hot and crisp for the best texture and flavor.
